Orbit Frontiers(TM) LLC

Thank you for your interest in the Team LunaTrex Moon Mission Competition and Purdue Space Day!

Orbit Frontiers is a founding member of Team LunaTrex, an official team vying for the Google Lunar X PRIZE. As part of our educational outreach efforts to inspire a new generation of space cadets, we are proud to work with Purdue Space Day and the Indiana Space Grant Consortium to sponsor and organize this competition for students in grades 3-8 to exercise their creativity and critical thinking skills to overcome some of the challenges faced by Team LunaTrex.

The Moon Mission Competition was held on 8 November 2008, and we were very excited to have 28 students submit their drawings and posters to the competition! Our thanks go out to everyone who participated and bravo to all of their excellent work!

Students were invited to draw their vision of a Moon rover that does NOT use wheels. It can walk, hop, slither, or slide in any other way across the surface of the Moon. Below are the winning entries to the Moon Mission Competition:

3rd grade: Aaron

3rd grade: Elizabeth

4th grade: Chauncea

5th grade: Justin
